Michaeline S. LaBuda

Michaeline S. LaBuda, nee Kostyra, age 68, passed away October 1, 2018, with her family at her side. Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Former parishioner and organist of St. Thaddeus Church. Longstanding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Cantigny Post #367. Employed at BMO Harris Bank, formerly First National Bank of Joliet.

Preceded in death by her parents, Casimer and Florence, nee Hojnacki, Kostyra; four uncles, Leo Hojnacki , Eugene Kostyra, Robert Susner, and Uncle Joe; and five aunts, Eleanor Hojnacki, Loretta Kramer, EmilyBallak, Genevieve Susner,  and Vicki Alberico

Survived by her husband, Frank LaBuda; her daughter, Dr. Caryn LaBuda; her aunt, Patricia Kostyra, her cousins, Ruth (Joseph) Tomala, Cathy (Bill) Marin, Charles (Catherine) Kramer, and Michael (Marina) Kostyra, Chrissie Kostyra, and Nick Susner; her sister-in-law, Renee Kinloch; her brother-in-law, Mark (Alice) LaBuda; numerous second cousins; and her dear friend Jessie Cambic.

A celebration of Michaeline’s life will begin on Friday, October 5, 2018, with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to Holy Cross Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Crest Hill. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60432.
