Michael A. Papesh, age 50, at rest on Monday, September 1, 2014.
Michael is survived by his wife, Molly (nee Durham); children, Jack and Michelle Papesh; mother, Mary Papesh; two brothers, David (Amy) of St. Augustine, Florida and Brian (Debbie) Papesh of Joliet, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Edward Papesh (1990); and grandmother, Loretta Countryman (2000).
Michael graduated from Joliet West High School in 1982. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a handyman and "jack of all trades" who could fix pretty much anything. Please keep Michael and his family in your prayers.
Funeral Services for Michael will begin on Thursday, September 4, 2014 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Per Michael's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services or visitation held at the funeral home.
