At rest at age 92, a lifetime Joliet resident. Employed at American Can Company and Blockson Chemical Company for numerous years. Last employed by Joliet Park District for 21 years, retiring in 1979 as Equipment Operator. Preceded in death by first wife, Rose (Wisniewski) Onderisin in 1963, his second wife, Edna M. (Krall) Onderisin in 2005, his son, Michael T. Onderisin, his daughter, Karen (Raymond deceased) Pavnica, his parents Michael and Mary Onderisin, one brother, Everet and one step-daughter, Janet (John deceased) Houdek. Member of the Joliet Moose Club, Old Timers Baseball Association, Wilmington Recreation Club, Senior Services Center and the The Blue Army, who pray the rosary every day. Former member of St. Cyril Holy Name Baseball Team, the 1937 C.Y.O. and Golden Gloves Boxing teams. Survived by his three children, Fred (Loretta) Onderisin, Audrey Onderisin and Donald Onderisin, Three sisters, Marion (Andrew deceased) Mudron, Helen (Albert deceased) Fris and Rita (Jack) Sanders. Survived by five Step-children, Patricia (George deceased) Hoffman, Sister Mary Lee Krall, S.C. Sisters of Charity , Donald (Virginia) Krall, Richard Michael (Luann) Krall and Stefanie (Jim) Bassing. There are eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
