Michael James Garcia "Cheekobrix", age 18, of Joliet, IL and Dallas, TX, passed away on July 23, 2014.
Loving son of Jeanna (Faisal Khan) Pacheco and Richard (Lisa) Horwath; Stepson of Anthony Garcia Sr.; Dear brother of Bryan (Jose) Salinas, Jacob (Jessica) Ridge, Julianne Harris, Anthony Garcia, Jr., Melissa Garcia and Tara (Frank) Schumacher. Dear grandson of Alice M. Bittle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Sandra and Robert Pacheco Sr. and Richard Cunningham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his mother, Jeanna Pacheco.
He was an aspiring musician and his music was his passion. He will be greatly missed by many and was loved by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Michael's life will begin on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 am at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL 60435. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Interment to follow.
