Michael P. Duff

Michael P. Duff Sr., Age 67, entered eternal life on Sunday, June 22, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Ruth Ann; loving children, Michael (Jennifer) and Sarah (Jerome) Zupancic; cherished grandchildren, Micaela Duff, Benjamin and Charlotte Zupancic; dear sisters, Ann (Glen) Bequette and Kathy Duff; devoted friends, Chuck and Linda Scribner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ann (nee Weisenberg) Duff; and his faithful companion, Gunner.
Mike retired from CBI in 2013 where he was employed for 42 years. Mike was a passionate outdoorsman, fisherman, and hunter. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Family always came first. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Michael's life will begin on Friday, June 27, 2014 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435, Father Jim Lennon officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park II Hills of Rest. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
