Michael P. Dillon, Age 66, at rest Saturday January 19, 2013 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with his loving family by his side.



Michael leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years Karen (nee Kozlevcar) and her children and grandchildren; his mother Flora Yale; one son Michael and one daughter Melissa; three brothers Robert Yale, James Yale, and Tom Ventsias; four sisters Anna Rousonelos, Bonnie Yale, Lois Ventsias, and Margaret Ventsias; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.

Preceded in death by his father John Dillon and adopted parents Uncle Tom and Aunt Lucy Ventsias; numerous aunts and uncles.

Michael was a United States Navy veteran and worked in Larkin Village as a painter for several years. He was an avid gardener and a creative artist. Michael was loved by all for his happy and entertaining spirit and his kindness to everyone he knew.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Staff at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

A Celebration of MichaelA�??s life will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 with a Chapel Service at the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. until time of services at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
