Michael V. Auman
August 1, 1939 — June 19, 2013
Michael V. Auman, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 with his loving family comforting him.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Kathleen (nee Slaboszewski); his siblings, David (the late Judy) Auman and Lois (the late Tom) Zukowski; his sisters-in-law Susan (the late Keiji) Koizumi, Dyan (Kenny) St. Romain, Trish (Mike) Blacklock; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents George Paul and Olive Janet Auman.
Michael was a proud United States Army Veteran. He retired from Commonwealth Edison after 25 years of service. Michael loved to read and gain knowledge and share his knowledge with everyone. He was a lover of GodA�??s word and attended Ridgewood Baptist Church for many years. Michael was a very caring man and Kathleen was the love of his life. He will be truly missed.

A Celebration of MichaelA�??s life will begin on Monday, June 24, 2013 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the chapel service to take place at 11:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
