Michael "Arch" R. Archambeault, 77, of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born on February 15, 1947, in Joliet, Michael was the beloved son of the late Bob and Ruth (nee Burgard) Archambeault.
Michael proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1971 and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, he dedicated over 50 years to a successful career in sales and advertising with Radakovich Liquor and Beverage Co. and Blue Ribbon Products.
A passionate golfer, Michael’s love for the game endured long after he could no longer play. He found joy in watching professional tournaments and staying connected with the sport he cherished.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; in-laws Bob and Marge Zobel; and his sister, Lori Verbic. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vicki (nee Zobel) Archambeault; their son, Jeff (Andrea) Archambeault; his brother, John (Dinah) Archambeault; and his sisters, Kathy (Pat) Kerr and Meg (Rick) Lorenc. Michael also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Don Verbic; special sister-in-law, Nancy Radakovich; his aunt, Toni Gerringer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, 416 N. Chicago St. Joliet, IL. There will be a brief visitation period at St. Joseph Church from 9:30 AM until the beginning of the 10:30 AM mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in his name be made to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL. 60431
