Melvin D. Heiden, age 76, at rest October 12, 2010.
Survived by his children, Gary Heiden of Joliet, Greg (Cynthia) Heiden of Channahon, and Gayle (Eric) Ziegler of Modesto, California, his grandchildren Nicole and Marc Heiden, Eric and Emily Heiden, and Kelly King, and a great grandson, Braydon Johnson. Also survived by his sister Darlene Redman and a brother, Dale Heiden, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Evelyn (nee Kuzminski) (2008), and his parents, Frank and Emily (nee Armbrust) Heiden.
Melvin was a member of Ingalls Park AC. He was founder and owner of H & R Pump Company.
