Mellissa Ann Brandt, age 37, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
Mellissa loved playing games, dancing, music and family. She enjoyed planning family events and was an avid animal lover. Mellissa’s smile was contagious and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Breanna N. Davis; parents, James and Diana (nee Bartels) Brandt; brothers, James E. (Shari) Brandt and Daniel L. (Lauren) Brandt; grandmother, Barbara J. Bartels; many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
Preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Marian and Anthony Banks; and grandparents, Kenneth and Norene Brandt.
A celebration of Mellissa’s life will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 with a memorial visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 p.m.
