Age 50. Passed away peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by her family.
Survived by her loving husband of 23 years, David J. Lachowski; sisters and brothers, Katherine A. Cecil, Virginia (Donald) Krall, Jayne Juricic, Jimmy (Jane) Juricic, Terry (Marilynn) Juricic, Augie (Teresa) Juricic; Godson, Augie R. Juricic; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, August R. and Lorraine G. (nee Heaney) Juricic; and two brothers, Teddy and Eugene.
A lifelong resident of Joliet, Lisa earned her degree in Early Childhood Development from Joliet Junior College, and she worked for several years as a teacher at area childhood learning centers. Lisa was an avid reader, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, and she had an appreciation of diverse musical artists and performances.

Where a brief memorial service will begin at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, and continue with a processional to St. Mary Nativity Cemetery where Lisa will be laid to rest. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 2:00 PM 8:00 PM.
