Maureen (nee Scully) "Moe" Levesque

Maureen “Moe” Levesque (nee Scully), 72 of Bartlett,IL. entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Jean (nee Whitgrove) Scully and her sister in law Patty Tait Scully.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 52 years John and daughter Melissa (fiancé Darrin Meyer), sister, Marianne (Michael) Avon and brothers; Michael (Ann) Scully, Jim (Vicki) Scully, Bill (Ann) Scully as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Maureen was born in Joliet, attended SFA class of 67 and received an associate’s degree in business adm. from Joliet Junior College. She had been employed at Joliet Federal in the loan dept. while completing after JJC. She enjoyed fun in the sun being on or near the water with her family and friends and also enjoyed interior decorating. Moe also enjoyed many of the old time comedy classics such as Andy Griffith, Mary Tyler Moore, and Dick Van Dyke along with old time movies.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1800 Dearborn St, Crest Hill, IL. Following funeral mass entombment will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
