Maureen J. Eich

Maureen Joan Eich (nee Muldoon), age 79, passed away at her home in Clearwater, FL on Thursday, September 4, 2014.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Eugene Eich; three children, Michael Eich, Debbie (Pete) Snikeris, and Terry Eich; 6 grandchildren, Kristen Connor, Derek Snikeris, Dana Eich, Steven Eich, Brian Eich, and Dylan Eich; one great-granddaughter, Lilian Connor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Evie (the late Carl) Hanlin, Delores (the late Jim) Eich, Bob (Rena) Eich, Leroy (Linda) Eich, Chuck (Betty) Eich, Gary (Suzie) Eich, and Dave (Cathy) Eich; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog Tinklerbell.

Preceded in death by her parents; Clifford Muldoon and Lilian (nee Witt) Ingram; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Viola Eich; and brother-in-law, Jim.

Maureen was born in Malta and grew up in England. She met her beloved husband Gene while he was serving in the United States Air Force. They were married in Plymouth, England on December 12, 1953. Maureen was a Licensed Practical Nurse and loved her job.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen's name to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, FL 33760, would be appreciated.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a service held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
