Mary Ann (Quinn) Murphy

Mary Ann Murphy (nee Quinn), age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Murphy, and leaves behind a legacy of love and family.

Mary Ann was a devoted mother to her children, Robert (Bianca) Murphy and Kelly (Marc) Willoughby. She was a loving grandma to Ashley and Alexis Willoughby, as well as Timothy and Lauren Murphy. Mary Ann cherished her role as a grandmother, creating lasting memories with her grandchildren.

She was a dear sister to James (Arlene) Quinn and Florence (Wilbert Huddleston) Sidlo. She also held a special place in her heart for her sister-in-law, Bernadette Quinn, and was an adored aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anna Quinn, and her brothers, William (Mary) Quinn, Thomas (Margaret) Quinn, and Martin Quinn. While she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary Ann's life will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Dennis Catholic Church, 1214 S Hamilton St, Lockport, IL with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip,Il.

Mary Ann Murphy touched the lives of many with her warmth, love, and kindness. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
