Mary Vercellotti (nee Kolenc), age 85, at rest on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center in Joliet.
Mary is survived by her brother, Edward Kolenc; brother-in-law Louis (Donna) Vercellotti Jr.; and was a favorite aunt, great-aunt and great-great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Vercellotti; parents John and Frances (nee Vidic) Kolenc; two sisters, Frances (Henry) Hubert and Ann (Michael) Zelinski; and two brothers John (Pauline) Kolenc and Frank Kolenc.
Mary was born in Joliet and resided in the Crest Hill area. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Mary was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters Court #1103, St. Genevieve #108, the St. Joseph Seniors, the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Joliet Rivals Club. She loved bowling and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Mary was a wonderful, caring, loving person who always told jokes and made others smile.

A celebration of Mary's life will begin on Thursday, October 31, 2013 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
