Age 103, at rest Monday, September 4, 2006. Survived by her daughter, Carolyn; and son, Louis (Delores) Tomazic. Grandmother of Mark Tomazic; a niece in Wisconsin and Slovenia; cousins in Slovenia, Argentina and Canada. Preceded in death by her husband of Louis Tomazic; grandson, David Tomazic. Also preceded by her parents, brothers and sisters. Mary was born in Dolenja Teska Vodo, Novo Mesto, Slovenija on May 24, 1903. Arrived in Joliet at the age of 16. Later met Louis Tomazic whom she married on July 11, 1922 in St. Joseph Church, Joliet. Mary worked outside the home for many years as well as being a homemaker. She was noted for her flower and vegetable gardens, crocheting and tailoring skills and her can-do attitude. Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Rd.
