Born May 23, 1933 in Joliet, Mary was a devout Catholic, a long-time member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius and St. Thaddeus, Joliet, and most recently of St. Ambrose, Crest Hill. She graduated from Joliet Township High School, attended Joliet Junior College, and worked as a bookkeeper for Will County Treasurer's office, Mobil Oil Credit Union, Dr. Morrison and Dr. Chawla.

Mary enjoyed many summers at CECO Recreation Club with her husband and children. Mary had an adventurous spirit and loved traveling. Most recently, she looked forward to winters in West Palm Beach, FL with family.
Preceded in death by Henry, her beloved husband of 50 years, who passed away on February 6, 2004; her parents, Peter & Ludmila Cizmar; brothers, Joseph Cizmar and John (Isabel) Misak; sister, Peg (Frank) Janes.
