Mary Ann Stasko

Mary Ann Stasko (nee Residori), age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2013 with her loving family surrounding her.

Mary Ann is survived by her beloved children, Dr. James R. (Debra) Stasko, Robert Stasko, Rhonda (FiancA�AC. Ray Dietz) Johns, and Debra Papesh; her grandchildren, Melissa (Matthew) Waitz, James Stasko Jr., Joseph (Aimee) Stasko, Louis Stasko, Jayme (Mike) Radeke, Jakob Stasko, Jade Stasko, Jennifer (Lucas) Ebbing, Jodi Johns; her great-grandchildren, Ashlan and Beckett Waitz, Tristan Radeke, Madison and Olivia Ebbing; two sisters Jeanie (Vince) Gelsomino of Princeton, IL and Emma (the late Richard) Mikuska; and longtime friend and companion John Piazza.

Preceded in death by her husband Ronald Stasko; her son Ronnie Stasko; and parents Arthur and Mary (nee Legan) Residori.

Mary Ann worked at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet and Vidmar Buick for many years as a warranty clerk. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. Mary Ann was a very caring and giving person who had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers donations in Mary Ann's name may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the charity of your choice.

The family of Mary Ann Stasko will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet from 10:00 am until time of the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. No funeral home visitation. Inurnment will be held privately.
