Mary V. Spreitzer (nee Staley)

Age 97, born September 8, 1912, at rest Wednesday September 9, 2009 at Salem Village Rehabilitation Center. Loving mother of Mary (late Vernon) Blanchette of Manteno,IL, Raymond (Suzanne)Spreitzer of Elwood, IL, Marlene (Jack) Schwab of Marion, IL, Kathy (late Jon) Cassidy of Dallas, Cheryl (Al) Lisi of Castle Rock, CO, Richard Spreitzer of Joliet, IL, dearest grandmother of twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Also survived by daughter-in-law Rose (late Robert) Spreitzer of Bourbonnais, IL, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband Sylvester ""Les"" Spreitzer (1982), one son Robert Spreitzer (2007), parents Absolum and Mary Ann (Gibbons) Staley, one sister and five brothers. Mary was born in Joliet and a life-long resident. She was a graduate of Joliet TWP High School and a member of the Jo Annites and Senior Services Center of Will County. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Joliet Area Hospice Home or the charity of your choice in Mary"s name would be appreciated. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and playing Bingo.

Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 AM then to Holy Cross Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10 AM Entombment Reserrection Mausoleum Romeoville, IL Visitation Sunday from 4 to 8 pm
