Mary Frances Plese (nee Kavanaugh), age 86, at peace Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Mary was born December 4, 1925 in Wilmington, IL. Surviving Mary are her children Theresa (Joel), Mary Beth Wagner, Annette (Jeff) Johnson, Robert (Mary Lynn) and Richard (Susan); grandchildren Colin (Jen) Plese, Jamie Wagner, Brandon and Anastasia (Dan Sopko) Johnson, Jenna, Sean, Emma and Gracie Plese, Kylie (Adam Birtas), Colin and Cole Plese; great-grandchildren Frances and Oliver Plese. Preceded in death by her husband Robert (1990); sons Daniel (1986), Michael (1978), Bobby Joe (1948) and Thomas (1950); her parents George and Maud Kavanaugh; brother George (Jean) Kavanaugh.
Mary was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Her family always came first, then her beloved Chicago Bulls and Cubs.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
A Celebration of MaryA�??s life will begin on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill.
