Mary M. Lesnik

Mary M. Lesnik (nee Sudar), age 90, entered eternal life into the kingdom of heaven, on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.

Mary is survived by her beloved son, Robert W. (Tamara) Lesnik of Joliet; brothers, John (Gina) Sudar of Orland Hills, Joe (the late Rose) Sudar of IN and Anthony (Lillian) Sudar of IN; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and the entire loving Lesnik family; "Puddles" and "Pandy" also survive.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, William Lesnik; parents Joseph and Katherine (nee Perpich) Sudar; brothers, Steve (Marge) Sudar and George Sudar; two sisters, Ann (Joseph) Cavlovic and Pauline (Herb) Kienzle.

Mary was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She was a member of the St. Joseph Seniors, the Slovenian Woman's Union and the Rosarians. Mary was also an active volunteer at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all. She always put others before herself and never had a harsh word to say about anyone. Mary was a kind and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We love you Mom.

A celebration of Mary's life will begin on Monday, December 30, 2013 with prayers in the Tezak Funeral Home Chapel at 9:20 a.m. then moving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2-7 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
