Mary Augusta (Brundige) Haettinger

Mary A. Haettinger (nee Brundige), age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Mary was born on July 15, 1922 in Athens County Ohio.
Mary is survived by her children, Ruth (Ron) Parsons, George Jr.(Kathy) Haettinger; grandchildren, Jeff (Jen) Parsons, Kathy (Chris) Chandler, Lynn (Chris) Tidvall and Jane (Jason) Klink; great-grandchildren, Bob, Kiera, Mia, Max, Abby, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Ryan and Cayden; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Sr. (2007); parents, John and Angeline (nee Pidcock) Brundige; brothers, Jerry Brundige and Nelson Brundige.
Mary loved bowling and golf. She also enjoyed cutting grass and shoveling snow until the age 83.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 10:30 a.m. until prayers in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
