Mary Ann D"Amico (nee Boyd) Age 70
At peace Friday, March 14, 2010, at her home, with her loving family by her side, after a 3-year courageous crusade with breast cancer. Survived by her children Tony, Anna (Albert) Krauss, John (Anna), Joseph (Tina) and Angelina Batuzich; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers William ""Sonny"" (Janet) Boyd and Danny Boyd; and former son-in-law Paul Batuzich. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Clifford W. ""Curly"" and Anna M. (Nee Karruckas) Boyd, sister Geri (Larry) Anderson and former husband Carmen D"Amico. Born in Joliet. Mary Ann was employed at Empress Casino in Joliet for 10 years. Special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Jason Suh at JOHA and Associates and their kind and caring staff and to Vitas hospice and her nurse Cindy. A Celebration of Mary Ann"s Life will be held Wednesday at the Funeral Home at 10AM. Family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30A.M. until time of service.
