Mary A. Bosi (nee Swandrak) entered into eternal life on Saturday, February 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Richard (Cindy) Bosi, Carl (Carol) Bosi, and Kathy (Ed) Brewer; loving step-children, Art Bosi Jr. and Tina Madden; cherished grandchildren, Sherri (Jim) Adams, Suzanne (Bill) Clarke, Gina (B.T.) McGowan, Wendy (Rick) Dominguez, Chris (Sarah) Bosi, Stacey (Joe) Kurtyka, Kristie (Edward) Starzyk, Robert (Sabrina) Frankovich, Arthur (Mary) Frankovich, Edward Brewer, and Molly (Neil) Chapman; cherished great-grandchildren, Gianna, Joe, Abby, Tom, Brett, Ethan, Jordan, Alyssa, Addison, Edward IV, Quinton, Aiden, and Annabelle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Bosi Sr.; grandson, Jeremy Anthony Bosi; parents, Ignatius and Caroline Swandrak; brothers and sisters, John, Matt, Jean, and Eleanor.
Mary was born in Chicago and resided in Plainfield for most of her life. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. She enjoyed activities such as bowling, fishing, cooking, baking, and crocheting. She was an animal lover, with a primary interest in birds. Family was the most important aspect of Mary’s life. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will begin on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Per Mary’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded after the funeral services. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
