At rest on Friday, December 19, 2008 peacefully at her home. Survived by her son John Bertolone; grandchildren Nick (Jackie) Gornick, Mike Gornick Jr. and Jenny (Jeff) Crompton; great-grandchildren Nathan and Madelynn Gornick; Jacob, Jeremy, Jenna and Justin Crompton; son-in-law Michael (late Joann) Gornick and her two cats Spooky and Taz. Preceded in death by her daughter Joann Gornick (July 2006); husband Samuel (March 2008) Bertolone; her parents and numerous siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 26, 2008. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at the Church beginning at 10:00 AM.
