Mary B. Walsh (nee Bjekich) Age 86. At rest Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by a son, James F. Walsh; her sisters, Genevieve (late Joseph) Surinak, Ceil (late Merle) Severns, and Dorothy Yasko; sister-in-law, Bea (late Raymond) Walsh; her dear friends, Annabelle and Kenneth Cargle. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Walsh (1952); her parents, Stanko and Catherine (nee Slobodnik) Bjekich; three brothers, George, Phillip and Stan Bjekich; and a sister, Mildred Bjekich. Mary graduated from Joliet Twp. High School. She was employed at Allen Bottling Co. for many years. Following her husband's death in 1952, Mary began employment at Illinois Bell, where she retired as a Supervisor from the accounting office. She also volunteered her time at the Joliet Senior Services from 1975-1985. Mary was a member of the Rosarians, Cantigny Post #367 Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Services Center, and the Grand Prairie Pioneers of Illinois Bell. Please omit flowers.
