Mary F. Ambrosch

Mary ""Honee"" Ambrosch, age 85, of Joliet, at rest on September 21, 2011with her family by her side at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Loving mother of Louis (Cindy) Ambrosch and Paula (Richard) Rohder; cherished grandmother of Courtney and Haley Ambrosch and stepgrandmother of Amy Rocha, Michelle (Mark) Alstott, and Nicole (Michael) Brenczewski; dear sister of Dorothy (the late Sam) Proia; brother-in-law Ted Babicki; sisters-in-law Betty Kolenc and Lorraine Kolenc. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Louis; her parents Joseph and Rose Kolenc; her siblings Joseph Kolenc, Rose Kolenc, Anthony Kolenc, and Helen Babicki.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Illinois, the VFW Cantigny Post #367 Women"s Auxiliary, Croation Cultural Club, Joliet"s Official Polka Queen and life-long Cub fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
A Celebration of Mary"s life will begin on Monday, September 26, 2011 with prayers at the funeral home chapel at 9:30 am, then in procession to St. Patrick Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.
