Marvin F. Hank Jr., age 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021 with his loving family by his side.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Robin (nee McDonald); children, Alyssa (Dan) Brown, Alex Hank and Eric Hank; parents, Marvin Sr. and Jean (nee Sienko) Hank; two sisters, Janet Cooper and Chris (Brad) Southard; nieces and nephews, Jill (Nick) Offerman, Sara (Joe) DeLuca, Daniel (Brooke) Cooper, John Hutten, Kelly Hutten, Lindsay (Mike) Thorgesen, Todd (Tendai) Brais; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Carolyn (the late William) McDonald.
Preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Marvin had a great love for the outdoors, some of his favorite hobbies included, hunting, fishing, boating and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
A celebration of Marvin’s life will begin on Thursday, November 4, 2021 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Per Marvin’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following mass. Interment will be held privately at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
