Martha (Harpin) Ravens

Martha (Harpin) Ravens of Joliet and formerly of Kankakee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Symphony of Joliet with her family by her side.

Martha retired from St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee after 27 wonderful years of service.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Kathy) Ravens, of Bourbonnais; three daughters; Linda (Sid) Christensen of Joliet, Darla (Al) Springer of Indiana, and Sandy Malmer of Bradley, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene, Sr. and Vera Harpin; loving husband, Edward; two granddaughters, Tina Christensen and Myrella Springer; son-in-law, George "Wally" Malmer, and brother, Eugene Harpin Jr.

Per Martha’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Martha will be laid to rest in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee next to her husband Edward at a later date.
