Martha Kesich (nee Jokich)
Age 85, at rest Friday April 3, 2009 at Provena Villa Franciscan. Survived by her fond and loving son Daniel (Marcia) Kesich Jr.; loving sister Bertha (nee Jokich) (late Peter) Radakovich; brothers Joseph and Peter (Pearl) Jokich; her loving niece Debbie (Terry Hart) Radakovich-Hart. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Daniel Kesich Sr.; parents Sam and Mildred (nee Klijaich) Jokich; sisters Sara and Angelina; brothers Michael and Lou Jokich. Martha was a lifelong resident of Joliet. Martha was a very active worker for St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and a member of the St. Sava Ladies Auxillary. The family would like to thank the staff of the Venetian Unit at Provena Villa Franciscan for all of their help and care. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Martha"s name would be appreciated.
Martha will lie in state at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church 3457 Black Rd. Joliet, IL, on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 9:30 until time of services at 10:30. Very Reverand Savo Cakardic Officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Pomen Services will be at 7 PM.
