Marilyn J. (Miller) Lewis

Marilyn Jeanne (nee Miller) Lewis, age 89, entered eternal life on September 5, 2017.

Marilyn  is survived by her loving husband of 66 years; Anthony D. Lewis; her children; Cathy (Paul) Lawrence, Craig Lewis and Tony (Viki) Lewis; her grandchildren; Darryn (Jackie) Johnson and Tracie Lawrence, A.J. (Caryn) Lewis, Kyle Lewis; great-grandchildren; Zack Johnson, Ava Johnson, Jullian Lewis and Nicholas Lewis. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert W. and Myrtle (nee Tintjer) Miller, brother; Gilbert H. Miller and sister; Dorothy M. Faletti.

Marilyn was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed hosting family gatherings in her home. Marilyn's hobbies included sewing, arts and crafts and bowling. She loved traveling, attending the theatre and dancing with her beloved Tony. Her greatest joy was spending the summer at their cottage in Wisconsin. She will be truly missed.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will begin on Thursday, November 2, 2017 with a memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road – Joliet, IL).
