Marie Frances Senffner

Marie Senffner died on April 2, 2007 in McKinleyville, CA. She was born on April 6, 1911 in Joliet and had been a lifelong resident until ill health forced her to move to California with her son, Lawrence Senffner M.D. While in Joliet Marie was a Member of the St. Mary Nativity Church and was active in several church organizations and activities. She was also active in the Catholic High Mother's Club for several years.

Survived by her children, Lawrence (Ellen) Senffner of McKinleyville, CA.; daughter, Barbara (Iue) Cho of Hilton Head, SC.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Anne (Andrew) Kuban of Lowell, IN. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death (1985) by her husband of 49 years, Anthony Senffner; several brothers; one sister; nieces and nephews.

During her lifetime Marie worked at various jobs. She was retired from the A&P grocery chain and was a member of the retail clerks union. She also belonged to the CCU and CFU fraternal organizations.

In lieu of flowers donations to St. Mary Nativity Church in Marie's name would be appreciated.

From where services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment will be at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 from 6-8 PM.
