Marie L. (Riffel) Muster

Marie L. Muster (nee Riffel), age 85, at rest on Saturday, December 30, 2017.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Tom) Warn, Judy Muster, Ken (Kirsten) Muster, Sandy (Tony) Flores and Sharon Schroeder; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Musty” Muster (2010); parents, Frank and Cecelia (nee Oblak) Riffel; sister, Dorothy Luchik; and sister-in-law, Joan (Sam) Hoobler.

Marie was a member of the Slovenian Union of America and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. She greatly enjoyed playing pinochle with her family and playing Yahtzee with her neighbors. Marie was a devoted wife and mother who will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet would be appreciated.

A celebration of Marie’s life will begin on Friday, January 5, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
