Age 96, died peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice on Wednesday, June 27 2012. Born on August 5, 1915.
Preceded in death by her sons Donald Krause (September 3, 2011) and Robert G. Krause (September 26, 2007); first husband August Krause (1979); grandson Robert J. Krause (1997) and second husband Myron FitzHenry (1995); her three brothers George (Olga) Boban, Milan (Gretchen) Boban and Donald (Lela) Boban and her parents.
Surviving are MarieA�??s daughters-in-law Valeria and Emma Krause; her brother Joseph (Dorothy) Boban and her step-daughter Janis FitzHenry. Also surviving are her grandchildren Gayle (Jim) Colbert of Shorewood, Valerie (Fred) Gutierrez of Joliet, and Donald Krause of Braidwood, Illinois, and Daniel, Robert, William, Laina, David and LaDonna of Nevada and California. Many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive.
Member of St Paul the Apostle Church, over 50 year member of Catholic WomenA�??s League, and charter member of the Paulites.
Lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois. Marie bowled in many city, state and national tournaments and a charter member of the 600 club, serving as secretary for 35 years. Over 50 year member of the Joliet WomenA�??s Club and past president, member of the Ladies of the Moose, lifetime member of the Route 66 Association, and charter member of the Ladies of the Elks and past president. Marie was an avid golfer, well into her 80A�??s and 40 years as a member of the Ladies of the Elks golf team. Marie enjoyed crossword puzzles daily and one of her favorite past times was playing a competitive game of euchre.
Marie lived a long fulfilling life and will be missed by many. May she find peace being reunited with her children.

A prayer service for Marie FitzHenry will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Elmhurst Cemetery Chapel. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
