Maria Soledad Martinez age 75, at rest Monday, January 21, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital.  Born in Mexico.

Loving mother of 15 children, Estela (Gumaro) Martinez:  Patricia, Olga, Noelia, Reyna, Flor, Israel; Ismael (Leticia) Martinez:  Yulianna, Guadalupe Yasmin, Maria Del Rosario, Luis Angel;  Ana Maria Martinez:  Manuel Del Toro; Ruben Martinez:  Bianca, Juan Jose, Victoria, Nikolas;  Manuel Martinez; Rosa (Justino) Leija: Carlos, Armando, Angelica, Erika; Irma (Rafael) Moreno:  Rafael Jr., Cynthia, Brisa;  Soledad (Jesus) Muniz:  Angel de Jesus, Jessica, Julissa, Cielo; Gerardo (Elida) Martinez: Gerardo Jr, Yasmin, Dulce Celeste; Luciano (Ofelia) Martinez:  Estrella, Emily, Juan Pablo; Natalia (Rafael) Avalos:  Valentina, Hector; Isidra (Osvaldo) Cazares:  Osvaldo Jr., Alondra, Elian, Kassandra, Cristal; Lourdes Martinez:  Marco Antonio Jr., Adriana, Gabriel Diaz; Jesus (Maria) Martinez: Javier, Jose Ruperto, Juan & Iris, Eric, Jesus Antonio; Maria Del Rosario Martinez:  Efrain, Samuel, Anthony Izaguirre and 36 great grandkids.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Ruperto Martinez, two children, one grandkid and her parents.

For those who knew Soledad she was an extremely kindhearted, humble, generous and a very religious person.  Soledad will be missed and forever live in our hearts.

A celebration of Soledad’s life will begin on Saturday, January 26, 2019 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (Jackson Street) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
