Maria Jeretina Age 79. At rest Friday, January 27, 2006 at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home. Survived by a sister, Sr. Francisca Jeretina of Austria, and brothers Frank and Joseph Jeretina. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maria (nee Dolinsek) Jeretina, three brothers, Michael, Steven and Rev. John, and one sister Ann Grental. Maria was born in Yugoslavia, and has resided in Joliet since 1951. She was employed at the St. Joseph Church Rectory for many years. Maria was a member of the Slovenian Cultural Center, the K.S.K.J., the Altar and Rosary Society, and was very active at St. Joseph's Parish. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and great-aunt.
