Maria Guadalupe Reyes

Maria Guadalupe Reyes, 51, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mexico, Maria arrived in the United States in 2003, where she built a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister who brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met.

Maria is preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Adilene, who passed in 2006, and her mother, Gudelia Reyes, who passed in 2012. She leaves behind to honor her memory her loving husband, Daniel Perez, and their children: Jesus Manuel, Arisday, Briseyda, Daniela, and Adrian. Maria is also survived by her father, Jose Reyes, as well as her siblings: Patricia, Jose, Socorro, Sandra, Rosio, Tereza, and Antonio.

A celebration of Maria's life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL. Family and friends are invited back to the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, for the final visitation, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 205 E. Jackson St, Joliet, IL. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 1500 N. Raynor, Joliet, IL.

Maria will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in peace.

Maria Guadalupe Reyes, de 51 años, de Joliet, Illinois, falleció pacíficamente el Lunes 3 de Febrero de 2025, rodeada de su amada familia. Nacida en México, Maria llegó a los Estados Unidos en 2003, donde construyó una vida llena de amor y devoción hacia su familia. Fue una querida esposa, madre, hija y hermana que brindó calidez y amabilidad a todos los que conoció.

Maria es precedida en la muerte por su amada hija, Adilene, quien falleció en 2006, y su madre, Gudelia Reyes, quien falleció en 2012. Deja atrás para honrar su memoria a su querido esposo, Daniel Pérez, y sus hijos: Jesús Manuel, Arisday, Briseyda, Daniela y Adrián. Maria también es sobrevivida por su padre, José Reyes, y sus hermanos: Patricia, José, Socorro, Sandra, Rosio, Tereza y Antonio.

La celebración de la vida de Maria se llevará a cabo el Miércoles 12 de Febrero de 2025, de 3:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL. Familiares y amigos están invitados de regreso a la funeraria a las 9:00 a.m. del Jueves 13 de Febrero de 2025 para la última visita, seguida de una misa funeral a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo, 205 E. Jackson St, Joliet, IL. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio de San José, 1500 N. Raynor, Joliet, IL.

Maria será recordada y siempre apreciada en los corazones de todos los que la amaron. Que descanse en paz.
