Margaret Susanne Witkowski

Margaret (Marge) Susanne Witkowski, 85, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert T. Witkowski; parents, Raymond M. McGrath and Margaret E. McGrath (Dean); two brothers, William (Billy) Leo McGrath (9 months old) and Raymond Dean McGrath; and one grandson, Alexander (Alex) J. Witkowski (died in infancy).

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: John (Dora Bell), Bobby, and Michael (Christine) Witkowski, one brother, Robert (Patti) McGrath; brother in law, John “Jack” (Lauren) Witkowski, three grandchildren, Melissa, Danielle and Jered as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 1, 2021  from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with family and friends meeting at the cemetery at 12:00 P.M. for a 12:30 P.M. service where Margaret and her loving husband will laid to rest.

Marge loved animals, especially her cats. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to your local humane society.
