Margaret D. Tymowicz (nee Troppe)

Age 83. Passed away November 18, 2007. Margaret was born on April 3, 1924, in Joliet, Il.

Marge was one of the founding families of St. Paul the Apostle Church, and was always active in their community, from her participation in the St. Paul"s Women"s Club, to the connection and enjoyment she found in her later years as a church lector. An Associate of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate. She was also an avid supporter of the Catholic peace movement, Pax Christi.

Marge spent much of her free time volunteering for both community and national organizations, such as The Girl Scouts of America and the American Cancer Society. She was also a proud member of the League of Women Voters. Professionally, she had been a teller at Union National Bank, and was a popular salesperson at Kozol Bros. Inc.

Preceded in death by her husband, Major Adam P. Tymowicz (USAF pilot); her parents, BlasA�?A�AC. (Jeff) and Margaret Troppe; and her sister, Mrs. Rosemary Kozol.

Survived by son, Michael Tymowicz, and daughter, Mary Rose Stonehouse. Also survived by many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home or the Franciscan Sisters of Joliet.

Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life

From where services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 9:30 AM to St. Paul the Apostle Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Wednesday beginning at 8:30 AM.
