Margaret D. Bregar (nee Spreitzer) ""Marge"" Age 88, at rest Wednesday September 22, 2010 at River Shore Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Marseilles, IL. . Loving mother of Len (Gerry) Bregar and Elaine (Neil) Greenberg, dearest grandmother of Joe, Jeff and Paul (Nicole) Bregar, Karen (Matt) Schiavo, five great grandchildren Dakota, Bode, Caden Bregar, Nathan and Allie Schiavo, two sisters Ann (late Eugene) Washer and Jean (late Jim) Anderson, two brothers Joe (late Edna) Spreitzer and Ed (Jackie) Spreitzer also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Joe Bregar (1950), parents Joseph and Mary (nee Levstik) Spreitzer, five sisters Mary (Tony) Smolich, Liz (Joe) Rudman, Theresa (Nick) Rudman, Bernice (Frank) Raspolich and Fran (Tony) Panian, one nephew Joe Spreitzer Jr.. Margaret was born and lived in Rockdale all her life, until moving to Ottawa six years ago. Member of KSKJ, lifetime member of St. Joseph Church of Rockdale. Retired from Provena St. Joseph Medical Center after 21 years of service. Her family was always first and foremost in her life. Marge cherished the many years she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donations in her name to Passages Hospice 134 N. McLean Elgin, IL. 60123. At Margaret"s request cremation rites will be accorded following the church services.

A Celebration of Margaret"s life will be held on Saturday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to the St. Joseph Church Rockdale, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8PM.
