Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the age 100.
Survived by her children, Marge (late Bob) Witkowski and Robert (Patti nee Cummings) McGrath; daughter-in-law, Sue (late Raymond Dean) McGrath; grandchildren, Cliff (Sue) McGrath; John, Bob and Michael (Chris) Witkowski; Tom, Meg (Dave) Marti and Patrick (fiancA�?A�AC.e Ashley) McGrath; great-grandchildren, Katie and Ashley McGrath; Melissa, Danielle and Jered Witkowski; Kate, Alexis and Hannah Grace Marti.
Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. McGrath (1944); two sons, Raymond Dean McGrath and William (in infancy); grandson, Shawn McGrath; great-grandson, Alex Witkowski; her parents.
Born September 14, 1908. Margaret was an accomplished harpist. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and was an excellent conversationalist. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her especially for her 'quick wit.'
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Margaret's name would be appreciated.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Joliet on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Lemont, IL. Visitation will also be held at the Church beginning at 10:00 AM.
