Margaret V. Maday passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at The Inn at Willow Falls at the age of 90.
She was survived by her daughters, Joan (Edward) Erickson and Jane (Kenneth) Markarian; her grandchildren, Sonya and Kevin Erickson and Audrey and Rebecca Markarian.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Michael A. and Frances (nee Fink) Zoran; her brothers, Michael, Joseph, Anthony, Frank, Edward and John Zoran; her sisters, Anne Stukel, Mary Brodeske and Elisabeth Korevec; she was a widow of Joseph Bernard Luzbetak and Raymond Joseph Maday.
Born on November 11, 1918 in Joliet, Margaret attended Moran School and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School. She attended St. Francis Academy and graduated from Joliet Township High School. Margaret worked in the offices at Gordon Baking Co., Montgomery Ward, and Vidmar Buick. Her volunteer work included coaching the girl's basketball team at St. Ambrose School, assisting at Girl Scout Camp, ushering at the Rialto Theater. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Cantigny VFW Post #367 and St. Ambrose Church. Margaret enjoyed gardening, bicycling, ice skating, traveling, dancing and singing. Her family and friends will miss her rendition of ""Winter Wonderland""-a song she once sang on the radio.
Her family would like to express their appreciation for the care provided by the staff at The Inn at Willow Falls and the cardiac unit of St. Joseph Provena Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Margaret's memory to Saint Ambrose Church or the charity of your choice.

Christian Burial which will
be held at St. Ambrose
Catholic Church, Crest Hill on
Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:30 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will
also be at the Church beginning at 10:30 AM until the time of service.
