Margaret H. (Billy) Kren

Margaret H. Kren (nee Billy), age 90, at rest on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Rock Run Memory Care. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident.

Margaret is survived by her son, James “Jim” Kren; daughter, Andrea A. (James) Wendell; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Kren, Amy A. (Nick) Blish and Joseph Wendell; great-granddaughter, Olivia Blish; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerome “Romey” Kren (2015); parents, John and Barbara (nee Andrechek) Billy; sister, Ann (Michael) Budzinski; brothers, Michael (Frances), Joseph (Frances) Billy and in infancy, John Billy.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Stephanie from Great Lakes Hospice Foundation for the wonderful care provided to Margaret and her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s name to Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, MI 49202 would be appreciated.

Per Margaret’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service which will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be held privately at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
