Margaret Hausfeld "Marge," (nee Mistakovich), passed away on Tuesday, September, 1, 2015.
Marge was born in Joliet, and as of late resided at Willow Falls of Crest Hill, IL. She was a Federal Employee formerly employed with Ammunition Procurement and Supply Agency; D.C.A.S.R., Chicago; and later retired from Hines V.A. Hospital.
Marge was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Church and Altar and Rosary in Joliet. She was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, St Ambrose Catholic Church and Jo-Annite Club.
Marge volunteered at OLA, both St. Joseph and Silver Cross Hospitals, and Meals-On-Wheels. Hobbies she especially loved were bowling, ceramics, photography, reading and picnics.
Marge is survived by her brother, Charley (Judy) Mistakovich of New Lenox; niece, Helen (the late Joseph) Castleberry of Joliet, Tina (Kevin) Schiffbauer of Tonica, Terri (Scott) Robinson of Crest Hill; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-law, Eleanore (the late John) Mistakovich.
Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Pauline of Joliet; twin brother, Joseph (Ruth) Mistekevic of Streator; brothers, George of Wilmington, Steve (Nadeane), Mike (Irene) of Atlanta, and John Mistakovich of Lockport; three sisters, Anna Molnar, Mary (Tony) Gerat, and Helen Mistakovich of Joliet.
A Celebration of Margaret's life will begin on Saturday, September 5, 2015 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 9:00 a.m., Father Ed Shea officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
