Margaret B. Franze

Margaret B. Franze (nee Ancel), age 83, at peace with the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 with her loving husband by her side.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles Franze Sr.; loving daughter, Marjean Franze; sister-in-law, Sr. Marilyn Jean Franze; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and daughter-in-law, Janice.

Preceded in death by her son, Charles Franze Jr.; parents, Joseph and Barbara (nee Govednik) Ancel; three brothers, Edward (Olga), Anthony (Beatrice), and Ralph (Florence); two sisters, Barbara (Joe) Zupancic and Ann (Al) Stefanic.

Margaret graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Joliet and St. Francis Academy. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Seniors of St. Joseph Church. Margaret was also a member of St. Francis KSKJ Lodge #29, Elks Joliet Lodge #296, Slovenian Women's Union, Senior Citizen Association, and past president of the American Auxiliary Legion Post 1080. Margaret will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Margaret's life will begin on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 8:30-10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
