Margaret C. Fishbeck

Margaret Caroline Fishbeck (nee Underhill), age 58, of Plainfield, went home to be with her big sister Kandice "" Kay "" Van Calbergh (1952-2011) for Christmas on December 20, 2012.

Margaret loved watching Dick Van Dyke reruns, exploring the U.S. as well as northern Italy on long road trips, wearing one of her 48 pairs of multi-colored flip-flops, playing the card game A�??hand and foot,A�?i�� drinking coffee with a Kahlua on the side, and attending Bears games but only if they were early in the season. She also enjoyed working with a great group of people at Elkay Mfrg. in Oak Brook as their Corporate Payroll Manager for the past 10 years until her retirement in November.

Margaret is survived by her friend and loving husband John Fishbeck; parents Mary Anne and Rev. Robin Underhill; sister Elizabeth Jones and her children Natalie and Andrew; KayA�??s children Matthew Ellsworth, Kelly (Paul) Frederiksen; sister and brothers-in-law Jill (Adel A�??EdA�?i��) Zaki and their children Megan and Melissa, Jamie (Doreen) Fishbeck and their children Andrew and Matthew; and mother-in-law Rheta Vaughn. Thank you to all the family and friends who provided support and assisted with her care the past few weeks; and to the compassionate staff at both Edwards Cancer Center over the past eight years and the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home recently. Family and friends will gather for funeral services on Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Edward and Christ Episcopal Church, 206 Midland Ave in Joliet for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded.
