Manuel G. Guzman

Age 71, at rest Friday, September 26,2008 at his home with his family by his side.

Survived by his beloved wife, Carolina R. (nee Ramos) Guzman; loving father of Sylvia (Bruce) Campbell and Lee (Vanja) Guzman; dearest grandfather of Savina Salazar and Corey Campbell, Michael, Samantha and Sara Guzman; one sister, Rita Gonzales; one brother, Clemente (Consuelo) Guzman; special nephew, Santos Perez; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by one son, Manuel Guzman Jr; parents, Desiderio and Eva (nee Gonzales) Guzman; three sisters, Juanita Lopez, Ramona Enriquez and Juanita (Fidel) Baldivia; two brothers, Dario and Anacleto (Bonifacia) Guzman.

Manuel was born in Coleman, TX, residing in Joliet since 1966 and retired in 1997 from Caterpillar Tractor Inc. after 30 years of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Joliet Area Community Hospice in Manuel's name will be appreciated.

From where prayer services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 9:30 AM to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 PM.
