Lura Belle Fantozzi ""Lou"" (nee Vinson) Age 80, at rest Monday, March 20, 2006 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Loving mother of Anthony J. (Claire) Fantozzi, Jr. and Jeanette L. Locasto. Dearest grandmother of Joseph, Sr. (Jeannine), Anthony and Michael Locasto. Four great grandchildren, Joseph, Jr., Jacqueline, Juliana and Jonathan Locasto; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by her husband, Anthony J. Fantozzi, Sr. (2002); parents, James and Zenobia (nee Cunningham) Vinson; three sisters, Gladys (Leonard) Fletcher, Lucille (Charlie) Fletcher, Georgia (Leon) Rogers; two nephews, William Bruce Fletcher and Royce Rogers; two brothers, Elmos and Earl (Jewell) Vinson; two twin brothers in infancy; sisters-in-law, Mary (Basil) Wilkey and Susan (Clarence) Hasse. Lura was born January 1, 1926 in Ballinger, TX, was married on December 1, 1945 to Anthony J. Fantozzi, Sr. and resided in the Crest Hill area since then. Member of Club 66 and Joliet Area Antique Auto Club. She was the bookkeeper for Fantozzi & Mahkovic Excavating in addition to being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed the weekly crochet classes at St. Anne's Church through the Lockport Township Park District and was an avid Chicago Bears and Bulls fan, win or lose.
