Age 71, at rest Wednesday January 2, at Joliet Area Hospice Home.
Survived by his beloved wife, Shirley nee Sanford, his Son Michael, Daughter Nanette, Debbie (Vic) Positano & Julie, Kathy, Lesley. 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. His Brothers Jose (Chita), Frank (Rosa), Elias (the late Sandy) & Tony (Life Partner Frank), Sisters Luisita, Josephine, Lila, Lucy, Martita, Neoma & Rosa.
Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Special Friends also survive. Luis was born in Puerto Rico, but has resided in the Joliet area for 55 years. Retired as a fork lift driver for Eco Lab.
Member of Joliet and Morris Moose, avid bowler at Town and Country Lanes, Eucher player & enjoyed camping. Liked to be outdoors in the tropics to pick tropical fruit and be in, on or by the ocean. He was also an avid Cubs Fan.
