Louise M. Jurisic, age 94, passed away peacefully at her Villa Franciscan Home, with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Louise is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Dr. Stephen) Midlock; one son, Jack Jurisic; grandchildren, Noelle (Christopher) Harris and Jason (Sarah) Midlock; great-grandson, Alexander Harris; great-granddaughters, Teegan Midlock and Ella Harris; sisters-in-law, Virginia (the late James) Kwasneski and Elle (the late William) Kwasneski; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Jurisic; parents, William and Sophie (nee Baranowski) Kwasneski; brothers, James Kwasneski and William Kwasneski; and sister, Bernadine (Joseph) McAvene.
Louise worked as a cook in the Joliet Catholic High School Cafeteria for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Presence Villa Franciscan for the wonderful care provided to Louise over the past 11 years.
A celebration of Louise’s life will begin on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
